Account Manager - MSP Sales


**This position can be remote and located anywhere in the US**

Job Summary:

The MSP Account Manager is responsible for selling Arcserve products and solutions into the managed and cloud service provider market space. This role will work collaboratively with Sales Leadership and cross functional teams to develop and manage customer accounts to drive growth by using proactive and consultative selling techniques.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Contact prospective customers by using the Salesforce CRM to reach prospects qualified by our sales development organization
  • Build territory plan to maximize revenue
  • Develop and maintain a substantial pipeline of qualified opportunities while maintaining an accurate forecast
  • Demonstrate advanced ability for multi-product sales and value selling
  • Cultivate and leverage relationships with key partners to drive sales outside of core territory
  • Well versed in SFDC and ensures accurate and timely forecasts as well as opportunity updates for management visibility in sales pipeline
  • Complete and thorough ability to perform product presentations to customers focusing on selling and positioning MSP solutions
  • Generate new prospects and opportunities via phone, email and social media to understand needs and how our products and services can meet or exceed their needs
  • Engage with the strategic Channel Partners in your geography to grow revenues and client engagement
  • Collaborate with partner account managers to expand channel presence and relationships within your geography
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing executives within the MSP community
  • Gain and maintain access to decision makers and end users in prospective client companies
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field or equivalent work experience to meet the essential functions of the position
  • 8 plus years of experience selling to and partnering with MSPs

  • Proven track record of building strong professional relationships at an executive level
